Rebound is a feel-good sports drama based on a true story. With a cast-off coach and six overlooked players, it turns an undermanned, written-off team into an unlikely run at the national high school championship. Warm and grounded, it keeps its focus on the team rather than any single star, finding its drama in the training, the setbacks, and the games themselves.

DISC SPECIFICATION

Story: Once a high school MVP, Kang Yanghyun takes over as coach of the basketball team at his old school, Busan Jungang High, just as the program faces being shut down. The team he inherits has only six players, each an underdog in his own right. With the odds against them, the new coach and his six players head into the 2012 national high school tournament, where eight days will test how far heart and teamwork can carry a team no one expected to win.
