Sho Miyake does not chase dramatic climaxes or heightened emotions. Instead, he watches, patiently and persistently, as friends dance through the night, teenagers wander through forests, and a boxer strikes a heavy bag in solitary rhythm. His films breathe with the texture of lived time, capturing what streams and algorithms cannot: the grain of 16mm film, the hush of a Hakodate summer night, the rustle of leaves in Yamaguchi's woods. This collection gathers three works where body and sensation take center stage, presented in the highest fidelity that only physical media can deliver.

"A masterpiece that gently settles flowing time onto film."
— Ryusuke Hamaguchi, Oscar-winning director of Drive My Car

    Story

And Your Bird Can Sing A young man works at a suburban bookstore in Hakodate. He spends his nights drinking and drifting with Sachiko, a co-worker he's sleeping with, and Shizuo, his unemployed roommate. One day, he senses something between Sachiko and Shizuo but says nothing. As summer wanes, their entangled feelings remain unspoken, suspended in the fleeting warmth of youth.

Wild Tour At an art center in Yamaguchi, university freshman Ume joins a workshop documenting local plant DNA. She leads two middle school boys, Take and Shun, through forests and beaches to collect specimens. As they explore the natural world together, unspoken feelings surface: encounters, confessions, and the quiet sting of young love.

Small, Slow But Steady Keiko is a professional boxer born with hearing loss. She trains daily at a small gym run by an aging chairman who has supported her from the start. When the pandemic threatens to close the gym and illness strikes her mentor, Keiko must confront whether she still has the will to fight and what boxing truly means to her.
