Propaganda Cinema Graphics has recently released a book: Movie Cards Archive 1
Movie Cards, or Movie Calendars were one of the main promotional materials for moviegoers during the 1970s and 1980s. These were incredibly popular amongst collectors.
The palm-sized card featured the poster on the front, while the back displayed either the calendar or the subway map. A PG-13 Movie Card would have a study schedule on the back for teens. These were distributed by the movie theaters for free. Movie theater staff would wait outside of schools to hand the cards out just in time for their exit.
This is an archive of Movie Cards from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. Movie Cards Archive 1 features a total of 484 movies released from 1957 to 1980. We hope this book of 1,000 pages will provide you with nostalgic memories, fun, and new things to discover.
